All Mountain is a subsidiary brand operating under the company; HeliBike New Zealand Limited (HelibikeNZ). All operations, safety management systems, staff and logistics are operated by HelibikeNZ.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your trip, please contact us as soon as possible.
Standard Trips, Guiding and E-Bike trips
- Cancellation more than 10 days notice
100% refund or rescheduled trip
- Cancellation 9 day to 24 hours notice
75% refund or rescheduled trip
- Cancellation less than 24hrs notice
No refund
We understand that mountain biking is a risky activity. If you are injured leading up to your trip and cannot participate, we'll use our discretion to make sure you're looked after.
If you are injured from a crash etc on the early stages of your actual trip and cannot continue, Unfortunately we cannot offer you any refund.
Custom and Multi-day trips (and Agent Bookings)
Full payment required within 21 days prior to trip commencement date.

No refund
Note - For longer lead-in custom and multi-day trip bookings, a 20% deposit may
be required at time of confirmation if 3rd party operators are part of the trip
(accommodation / transport / hut fees etc). If 3rd party cancellation policies are different from ours, this 20% deposit may not be able to be refunded regardless of notice period.

Weather / Operational Cancellation Policy
If we cannot undertake your trip / guiding (or cannot reschedule you to another day / date) due to unfavourable weather conditions or other unforeseen operational circumstances, you will be given a 100% refund.
Minimum booking numbers
Some of our trips and tours require minimum numbers to go ahead and may be combined with other individuals or groups to confirm trips. We’ll be in touch with you before your trip with us if we are under minimum numbers to discuss options with you. If your group is small or you’re on your own and you want an exclusive experience, please give us a call or email to discuss a private trip.
Riding skills
Most of our products and trips cater for intermediate (grade 3 and above), through to expert mountain bikers. so previous mountain biking experience is required.
We can however cater for any level of riding experience, if you’re a beginner or just looking to get into the sport with some guidance. If you’re not sure of your skill or experience level please contact us and we'll be happy to give you some guidance.
Minimum age
Kids are ripping on bikes these days! so its only fair they can come riding too. Kids as young as 10 years old can come on our trips, as long as they have the skills & stamina required to endure the riding & descents etc
Note - Parental guardianship (accompaniment) is required for all kids under 16 years old

Season
Our MTB riding season is generally from 1st October to 31st May, (weather dependent). We do have some limited options for riding experiences over our winter months. Please get in touch with us.
Bikes
You are welcome to bring your own bike for any of our trips and experiences. We recommend a modern full suspension mountain bike that is in good working order. Bring any tools specific to your bike in case you have a mechanical issue on the ride e.g. spare derailleur hanger etc. Our guides also carry a myriad of spares and repair kits you get you out of trouble should you have any mechanical issues.
E-Bikes on Helibike Trips
Please contact us directly if you wish to bring an ebike on our Helibike trips, Most of the time we can accommodate ebikes on our trips, but as we have weight restrictions on our helicopter bike racks, as well as some safety procedures in regards to carriage of lithium batteries etc, please get in touch.
Bike Hire
You can hire a Specialised Status 160mm Full Suspension Bike from us for $189 (per day). Or a full suspension E-Bike from $229 (per day). Just let us know your height, weight, pedal preference for clips or flat pedals and brake set up in advance so we can make sure to have the bike set up for you prior to your trip. (You can also bring your own clip pedals that match your shoes and we can fit them to your hire bike.) Hire bikes also come with half shell helmets and gloves if you need them. Alternatively you can bring you own helmet (half or full face) and protective gear if you wish.
(NOTE - we DO NOT offer knee / elbow pads or other protective gear as part of your bike rental, for hygiene reasons)
What to bring
- Bike, helmet, protective gear and tools (unless you are hiring this from us)
- Backpack
- Enough hydration and snacks for the duration of your trip (Snacks for a half day / Lunch etc for a full day trip)
- Clothing appropriate for bike riding and potentially cold, wet weather, including a spare jacket.
- Sunblock
Transport and pick Ups
We have a central Queenstown pick up location (Athol Street carpark)
If you’re further afield, let us know where you are staying and we can potentially pick you up from your accommodation or another location. We can also help with rental bike pick ups and airport transfers etc too.
Customise your trip
If you would like us to provide you with a packed lunch or a hot feed from our partners at HandleBar, a different type of hire bike, a different type of ride or a ride package for several days, please let us know. We would love to help personalise your day so that you get everything you want out of it and we can make it the trip of a lifetime for you.
Safety First
At All Mountain we have a huge focus on safety. We’ll brief you on everything you need to know about safety & hazards as well as instructions about the trail and the route you’re riding, Our guides are all trained in outdoor first aid and carry a full first aid kit with them to treat any emergencies that could happen on the trail. They also carry an emergency locator beacon and a tracking device.
Compliance Certification
All Mountain is a subsidiary brand operating under HeliBikeNZ, which is a registered and certified Adventure Activity Operator. HelibikeNZ is audited annually by Worksafe NZ (government regulator) and adhere to the highest standard of safety systems and procedures.
