Advanced MTB program - Single Tracks
10 week program - $490
Every Monday from 5pm to 7pm
The 10 week program at the Queenstown bike park and Fernhill areas is designed for riders looking to get more comfortable on single tracks.
Friendly and experienced coaches provide an intimidation-free atmosphere.
Group sizes are small with no more than 5 riders.
Develop your confidence, have fun with friends and progress in a friendly environment and supportive atmosphere.
The classes will take place between the Queenstown bike park and Fernhill area.
Who is it for:
*Riders looking to learn how to jump and drop small to medium features comfortably (Vertigo, Original, Huck Yeah, Wynyard...)
*Riders looking to improve their speed and confidence on their favorite trails in and out of the bike park.
*Riders looking to feel more confident and consistent overall
*Riders wanting to get professional coaching with detailed analysis, with friendly and effective feedback.
*Small groups, no more than 5 riders with similar abilities.
Things you will be learning:
Bike and suspension set-up
Be introduced to jumping and consolidate existing jumping skills
How to handle small to medium roll downs and drop offs
How to corner with more speed, consistency and flow
How to descend technical trail with better confidence and speed control
How to approach rock rolls and steep terrain
Slow, tight corners or track stands
Front and rear wheel lifts, bunnyhops, etc...
What to bring:
The 10 week program takes place around Queenstown bike park, so we recommend either an enduro bike or a downhill bike with suspensions in good working order, good quality brakes and aggressive tyres. Full face helmet, gloves and knee pads are mandatory. Arm and body protection are optional.
